  • Cosmetic Condition: Where to begin… this began life as a Danelectro Convertible (original neck, pickup, etc.) and has been refinished (evidence of a black base coat underneath). When looking at the horns inside, if they were added after the factory someone was very experienced with the manufacturing technique because there isn’t apparent evidence they were added later. This, along with the “Yaba Daba Do” stamped into the tailpiece could point to it being a promotional item tied in with the Flintstone’s - but research hasn’t turned anything up yet.

  • Plays okay, strung with flatwounds and better as a slide guitar, but could be setup to play with lower action.
