- Cosmetic Condition: Very Good. General tweed wear - scuffs and scratches, some thin spots and a few corners have worn through to bare wood. The 'L' is missing from the logo but the grill cloth is intact. RCA, Sylvania, and Tung-Sol tubes, serial number puts its production in 1951 but the speaker code dates to '59.
- By the books, the "National Chicagoan Model 1220 Amp" should be 17 watts, 1x10", and have "Valco Chicago 51" on the control panel. This amp has the "Valco Chicago 51" on the Control panel, but that's where any similarities end. It has the same tall tweed cabinet akin to the "National (Valco) Deluxe (Aztec)" and a pair of 6L6s, but a 1x12" Jensen. Officially the model number is #1215.
- Cosmetic Condition: Great. Some stains and tears but nothing unusual for its age. Has two 7x11" Jensen speakers. Metal Handle. VERY RARE.
- Features: Two Channels: Mic (1 input) and Instrument (3 inputs); 1 Tone Knob. Very responsive, but almost too much so for heavy rockin' chords played with a humbucker. Amazing for leads or any kind of single coil goodness. Also great for harp.
