Marshall Studio Vintage SV20 Head and Cab

$1,800.00

The Marshall Studio Vintage SV20 Head White Levant brings the brute volumes of the legendary Marshall 1959 to room-suitable volumes. The compact version of the classic 'Plexi' offers not only the classic appearance, but also the coveted voicing of the original for studio and recording purposes. For this purpose, the Studio Vintage Head has been equipped with a serial effects loop with additional activation switch and a DI output including Speaker-Simulation, while the power amp output of 20 watts in low mode can be limited to 5 watts. Thus, the EL34 power amp of the mini behemoth produces rich tube sounds even at low volumes with the loudness control turned up.

20 watts or 5 watts

Depending on the application, the high and low modes of the standby switch offer different power gradations for different applications. Especially for bedroom shredders and recording purposes, the power amp is limited to 5 watts in Low mode, which limits the dynamics, but allows the power amp to be cranked up further without any problems to achieve classically rich Marshall sounds. In the 20-watt high mode, on the other hand, the Studio Vintage is quite capable of providing adequate sound for rehearsals and small gigs.
